Cafe hopping Taiwan – 4Mano Caffé

Near ZhongXiao XinSheng Metro Exit 2(忠孝新生站二號出口) is where 4Mano Cafe is located. Actually I stumbled upon this cafe during my cafe hopping quest in Taiwan. Please note that reservation is highly recommended! I was told that the waiting time is at least 40 minutes. However out of goodwill and looking at the fact that i am a tourist, the waiter there managed to secure a table for me. So what is good here?

4Mano is actually opened by one of Taiwan champion barista who has won multiple awards.
The renovation of the cafe has this modern look which is slightly different from a lot of the taiwanese cafes with the kawaii look. Seating wise is rather limited and when the cafe is full house, it is also rather noisy.
I ordered a kenya coffee pour over (NT 210). Beside having a beautiful presentation of the coffee, this is also a good serving of kenya coffee. While retaining the coffee’s black current aroma, there is a pleasant vibrant acidity.
The serving of Caffe Mocha (NT180) is slightly bigger as compared to the ones in Singapore. Although it is a double shot serving, I find it slightly too much milk for my liking.
The highlight goes to the waffles serves here. Not only it is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, it has this chewy qq texture from the mochi that are added to the waffles. Mega love it. People who are going to taiwan, should give it a try if possible. I can easily say that this is one of the best waffles that I have ever tasted.
