Bountiful Blessings & Splendid Feasts at Royale

It is never easy to find that special someone who is always there for us through thin and thick. With Valentine’s Day coming, it is time to celebrate and remind ourselves how beautiful the relationship can be.

When you cant describe your feelings in words, you can always show it through the simple action of bringing your loved one to a nice dinner. Starting with a glass of Prosecco Sparkling Wine, enjoy the first appetizer, the Pan-seared Duo of Sea Scallop and Tuna Loin served with Mango Salsa. The sweetness of the fresh seafood paired with the Mango Salsa would open up your appetite for the night ahead which would be followed by the Double-boiled Chicken Consommé with Poached Oyster and Morel Mushroom.

There are 2 options for main courses. You can either choose The Japanese inspired Oven-baked Miso Alaska Cod Loin or the Pan-Roasted Spring Chicken Roulade and King Prawn seasoned with Black Truffle

For desserts, one would have the choice of the Blood Orange Mousse Dome served with Green Tea Streusel or the Strawberry Chiboust scattered with air-flown berries. I say choose both and share with your lover.

During this Chinese New Year, one can also enjoy the food offering on the buffet line at Royale Restaurant. All the food were good. The chilli crab sauce was sweet and tasty with the crab meat being firm and fresh.

The Tempura was not overly fried, just enough to be crispy while retaining the taste of fresh vegetables and prawns.

Hong Kong Style Waxed Meat Rice wrapped in Lotus leaf was very good. But kind of filling so don’t eat too much of it.

Braised Fish Maw and Crabmeat Soup was nice and the Oven-Roasted Crispy Pork Belly was moist and juicy.
