Beauty product review : Olay Aquaction intensive nourishing emulsion xOlay Aquaction Party

Weeks ago I was very blessed to attend Olay Aquaction Party with Charlene. The party was organised by the lovely peeps from  Cozycot held at wavehouse. The party was very blessed with great weather and I think everybody has heaps of fun. There was also the air brush tattoo section and I found some very spontaneous peeps who shown their love for Olay with the “I love Olay” tattoo. Super cool isn’t it?

What is an event without food right? We were all very well fed with the yummilious pizza, nacho and other snackers from wavehouse.

On top of that, there was also an instant print photo booth, all we need to do was to upload to instagram and hashtag #Olay #Aquaction #Cozycot to get our lovely photo printed out.

Personally I find the event very well organised as beside the beauty section, there was also bokwa session and free go to the wave barrel. I was kinda regretting that I wasn’t well prepared for the event as I have tried the wave rider and love it very much. As for the bokwa session, personally I feel that it’s a good form of exercise. Although the moves look simple but it was quite tedious for me. lol

Overall I had a lot of fun at the event together with Charlene and the lovely peeps from cozycot.
At the event, I also get to know about this new range of products launched by Olay. To be frank, I was quite curious about it and just when I was contemplating whether to get one to try on it, I was given a bottle of Olay Aquaction moisturiser by Jeraldine from Cozycot to review on it. Seriously feeling super blessed over it.
Olay Aquaction is actually inspired by the legendary beauty, Yang GuiFei whose beauty regime consisted of a must have ingredient Tremella fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract which is also commonly known as snow fungus, silver ear fungus and white jelly mushroom.

From what i understand about this unique ingredient is it reportedly increases moisture retention in the skin and prevents senile degradation of micro-blood vessels in the skin, reducing wrinkles and smoothing fine lines ( Source from Wikipedia).

Olay Aquaction used Hydralock Technology which was invented in Japan. This fantastic technology is actually better than Hyaluronic Acid. Best of all, after a single usage, it will give you hydrated bouncy QQ skin.

After using it for 2 weeks, I think it’s about time for me to write a review on it. Personally I like the product as it’s really light weighted and it is quickly absorbed into the skin within seconds. Thus leaving the skin moisturized yet not feeling sticky. On top of that, I am amazed that my super dehydrated skin feels hydrated throughout the day after using it. Just like the colour of the product, it leaves a cooling sensation on the skin when you apply it. Best of all, it smells really lovely! Overall, this is a fantastic product for people like me with dehydrated skin and I like the fact that it’s non sticky and also leaving a cooling and refreshing feel after applying. =)
P.S : The above picture was taken at the end of the day after work. As you can see, my face is not “greasy” or wat except some signs of tiredness from my dark cirles. Thus I feel that this product is really good for people like me with combination/dry skin.
