Staycation at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

With Covid 19 hitting the world hard, many people have put on hold their travel plans. But I think this is actually a good time to go for staycation in our little red dot island because the promotions are way too tempting. I have recently visited Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel as they are running “We Clean, We Care, We Welcome” promotion. For all My Millennium members, there are exclusive members’ rate and 2,000 Bonus Points when you book by 31st March as part of the “We Care, We Clean, We welcome” campaign!

Yes, I know what are you thinking. Is it safe to do a staycation? I think this is the best time to do staycation as the hotel is taking extra care to establish precautionary measures such as rigorous and regular cleaning and sanitization, provision of medical masks and gloves for hotel guests customers upon request and hand sanitizers placed at guest contact areas, such as hotel lobbies, concierge as well as gym. There are also temperature checks before entering the restaurant and lounge using infrared thermometers. So if this is not the best time, when is the best time, right? On top of that, it is absolutely free to sign up for My Millennium membership!

We staying in the Club Deluxe Room which is 334sqft big. The room also come with a standing shower, bathtub and good lounging area where one can laze on the sofa and admire the view. I like that the bathroom is very spacious and I get to enjoy some self-pampering time with Sabon sea salt scrub that I brought along.

I kid you not, if you get the room that is facing the Singapore River, you get the view of both the river as well as the panoramic view of the CBD.

But the best thing that I like about the room is the comfy bed. It is King sized, soft and with very comfortable bedsheets. Oh yes, not forgetting the fluffy pillows!

One of the main reason that I think it is very value for money to book a club room is because it also come with Executive Lounge Access from 6pm to 8pm. Besides having some nibbles and free flow salad, one can get free flow alcohol!!! Imagine it is all complimentary from a good selection of alcohol, from wine to beer and cocktails as well as juices.

ok, here is one good deal for you to consider, don’t forget to check out the Alfresco Dining. It is a newly launched dining concept by the river and the set menu is only $22 per pax (min. 4 pax) and ala carte items is nothing more than $30. Not only can you enjoy the occasional breeze, you get to enjoy the free flow complimentary alcohol from 6 to 8pm as a Club room guest! Better do it while the executive club lounge is under renovation because once the renovation is done, the Executive Lounge will no longer be on level 1. Oh yes, did I mention that My Millennium Members get exclusive dining privileges such as 20% off dining? Remember to sign up for your membership today!
