I am always on a constant struggle and fight with my dehydrated skin. It is always very frustrating to wake up with skin peeling off my face (the sides of my mouth, nose, cheeks or jaw area). Thus I was elated to be invited to the launch of SOTHYS Hydra3Ha™ Line at Redbank Bar & Grill. An afternoon was spent with the lovely peeps from SOTHYS to learn more about the new range while enjoying some afternoon tea.

SOTHYS Hydra3Ha™ is a line of retail products and treatment with patented 1055 Boletus Extract and High and Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid. These 3 star ingredients provides the skin with amazing 3D hydration that starts from deep within the skin cells at the gene level to the surface moisture barrier.
The 1055 boletus extract is an exclusive, patented active ingredient from Sothys Advanced Research. It is a Hyaluronic acid booster. While the High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid restores and retains hydration on skin surface, the Patented 1055 boletus extract and regulating active ingredient reactivates the skin’s hydric memory. Interesting fact is it is actually extracted from mushroom! Besides being a health food to prevent against cancer and heart disease, it is also good for our skin. Amazeballs!
The Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid would provides rapid moisture penetration and deep action within the skin. Together with restructuring active ingredients, the epidermis is regenerated.
In short, the beauty of SOTHYS Hydra3Ha™ Line is to optimize the skin hydration through stimulation of trans-epidermis water flow and the expression of skin’s hydration gene and protect the skin against moisture loss.
After the sharing session from the beautiful ladies from France, as the attendee of the event I also get to try out the new SOTHYS Hydra3Ha™ homecare range. I am quite amazed by how easily the products are being absorbed into the skin.

Just a short introduction of what I have experienced, this lightweight hydrating serum is formulated with 1055 Boletus Extract and Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid, it helps to restore of skin’s moisture and regenerate the epidermis. It has a light floral fragrance and is suitable for all skin types. A test was done on 20 people with the result of up to + 60% hydration and 36% reduction of water loss. The skin is intensely moisturised, its elasticity renewed, it looks and feels regenerated.

The serum is best used with the moisturiser. For the dry combination skin, there is Hydra3Ha™ Hydrating Cream while for oily combination skin, Hydra3Ha™ Hydrating Gel-Cream would suit you better. The difference between the both is hydrating cream has a richer texture while the gel-cream has a very lightweight texture. I have tried both the cream on my hands and surprisingly even the hydrating cream is absorbed into the skin within seconds. According to evaluations done on 39 individuals, the skin is moisturised and feel comfortable for 89% of users. Tested on 24 models, the skin’s radiance and youthfulness are preserved day after day: With an increase of 46% hydration after 3 hours and continuous hydration for 8 hours.
Each of the guests also get to bring back a set of Hydra3Ha™ Intensive Hydrating Serum and Hydrating cream. I am so looking forward to try out the products. A separate review will be up later. Do stay tune for it. =)
