As someone with perfect eyesight, I have never had the concern of not being able to see clearly. However, I do understand how troublesome it can be wearing specs as my girlfriend is often more grouchy than usual if she is wearing her glasses instead of her contact lens. Hence, when Shinagawa Eye Centre held its 10th Anniversary Party, I have decided to check it out to understand more about lasik and explore the possibilities of getting J to go for that.
Shinagawa Eye Centre is actually located at Wheelock Place level 5 and can be easily accessed via lift or escalator (above Mark and Spencers Cafe). There are 2 senior eye doctors (Dr Lee Sao Bing and Dr Jovina See) to help to treat people with eye problems.
Shinagawa Eye Centre does not only treat eye problems such as Cataract and Myopia, it offers a full suite of eye care services with advanced diagnostic and surgical devices.
Dr Lee is also not just the Medical Director of Shinagawa Eye Centre, as an eye doctor, he has many years of experience under his belt. In fact, Xinyi has shared that her lasik was done by him after she has done heaps of researches and it was a decision that she has never looked back! Dr Lee is also the winner of four research awards in various research meetings and has been awarded several research grants from the National Medical Research Council! Don’t play play ok. Because of his special interest in treating dry eyes, contact lens problems, allergic eye disease, myopia and all aspects of refractive (LASIK) surgery, he has won several awards, published many research papers and even reviewed articles submitted to research journals for publication!
Now my ground work has been done, it is time for me to convince J to do her Lasik!
