Pokemon Research Centre Opening in RWS Sentosa

Attention all Pokemon trainers, mark you calender. Something really exciting is about to happen on 22 October at Resort World Sentosa S.E.A Aquarium! For the first time, Pokemon Research Centre is opening outside Japan!!!! Time to put on your lab coats and discover more about the hundreds of different Pokemon in the region! Seriously, I can’t contain my excitement for this!

So where exactly is the Pokemon Research Centre going to be?
The exhibition is located at the basement of Sea Aquarium (exit gallery of S.E.A Aquarium)and will be open daily from 10am to 7pm till 2 January 2017.

How big is the exhibition?
The Pokemon Research Centre is sitting on an area of 1,000 square metres and has 8 Pokemon observation machines for you to assist you to guess which Pokemon is contained within the Pokeball.

Pokemon trainers start by choose the level of difficulty for the research of the Pokemon. There are 3 levels (Regular, Difficult & Extra Difficult) to choose from. According to the person in charge, as there might be a surge in the visitors. Hence, choose wisely as you will only be given one pokeball!

After that, you can proceed to choose 4 observation machines to assist you to assess which pokemon is contained in the pokeball. Simply place the pokeball onto the machine with the white surface facing down and these machines will generate clues such as the Pokemon’s distinctive characteristics, height and weight…etc

Lastly, place the pokeball on the answer machine to double check if you have guessed correctly on the Pokemon that is captured within the pokeball.

You will also be able to marvel at the unique characteristics of more than 700 Pokemon at the Pokedex wall.

What is a Pokemon Research Centre without Pokemon, right? Besides Pikachu, you will see Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Totodile (the first 3 pokemon that you see in the 2nd installment of Pokemon game on Nintendo) and Giratina.

If you are a huge fan of Pikachu, do not miss the meet Pikachu and friends sessions which will be happening daily at 11.30am, 2.30pm and 5.30pm.

All tickets to the Pokemon Research Centre are bundled with admission to S.E.A Aquarium. Remember to book online to enjoy more saving at $35 per adult (U.P: $45) and $23 per child/ senior (U.P: $32). The ticket includes admission to the S.E.A Aquarium. If you wish to get unlimited entries to S.E.A Aquarium and the Pokemon Research Centre, simply top up from $40 to get the annual pass for S.E.A Aquarium.
