Media Release: F&N MAGNOLIA x MyKuali x Mae Ploy

August was indeed an interesting month as Singapore celebrates its Golden Jubilee. With a history of 78 years, Magnolia has played quite a part in many of our growing up lives. I affectionately remembered Magnolia’s iconic pyramid-shaped tetramilk packs which were distributed during recess time. To mark Singapore’s Golden Jubilee year, F&N MAGNOLIA launched a nostalgic limited edition F&N MAGNOLIA SG50 packs. Consumers can also collect limited edition F&N MAGNOLIA SG50 Tote Bag when they purchase two packs of 1-litre F&N MAGNOLIA milk of any variant at the F&N MAGNOLIA SG50 Roadshows.

Due to busy schedule and laziness at times, instant noodle has been one of my way to fill up my tummy whenever I don’t feel like eating out. Recently, I have found this brand, MyKuali, that really impressed me amongst the ample of choices available in the market. Besides MyKuali Penang Hokkkien Prawn Noodles, under the same brand, there is also a MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodle. My first experience with the noodle was it was more flavourful and had a more chewy noodles as compared to the others out there. But with an improved recipe, it is even better! Springier noodle but faster cooking time and boasts a bouncy texture. The new version has the belacan (Shrimp Paste) roasted slightly longer and real garlic bits added. Thus the broth is more aromatic, piquant and fiery! MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodle has also taken the second spot in The Ramen Rater’s Top Ten Instant Noodles of All Time 2015 Edition while MyKuali Penang Red Tom Yum Goong Noodle topped the list. The Penang White Curry Noodle (4 in a pack) goes at the retail suggested price of S$4.50 and is available in Cold Storage, Giant Hyper & Supermarket and Sheng Siong stores. Peeps like me who are interested in MyKuali Penang Red Tom Yum Goong Noodle, I heard that will be available soon!
In adddition, San SeSan Global is proud to announce the launch of the Halal-certified Mae Ploy Thai Style Salad Dressing. Delicate and well balanced, this salad dressing hits the perfect notes of sour, sweet and salty. No cream or oil is added to the dressing, and hence it contains 0% fat. The dressing also does not contain any preservatives or artificial colouring. Red chilli, garlic and coriander all come together to lend the salad dressing a fragrant and uniquely Thai taste. The sweetness tempers the acidity of the vinegar. This versatile dressing can be used to complement salads or even as a dipping sauce for delicious meats.
