Like I always said, weekend is the time for feasting. Thus I am always on the lookout for places whereby I can wine and dine with my friends. Located at the junction of Duxton hill and Duxton road is where MEATliquor SIN is. In the month of Dec, MEATliquor is hosting another edition of their EATs, BEATs & TREATs anti-brunch event where you can enjoy limted edition sides, burgers and free flow ALCOHOL!!!
No party is complete without music. MEATliquor has it covered with DJ Oliver Osborne spinning in the house. After a glass or two, if you have any songs that you die die want to hear, You can always write your choice of songs on the white board near the DJ booth. Guests will also receive exclusive MEATliquor ‘Baddy Bags’ to take home with them.
For the free flow sides, there are deep fried pickles, Mac and cheese, buffalo wings, gunpowder shrimp, Greek salad and fries. I had the Mac and cheese, gunpowder shrimps and Greek salad. MEATliquor’s version of Mac and cheese is done like a croquette. It has a crispy exterior with creamy cheesy innard. If you like blue cheese, you might get that whiff of blue cheese aroma as you bite into the golden crust.
There is a burger for everybody at MEATliquor anti-brunch event. Some of the signature burgers such as HBD Chicken Tower Burger, Bacon Cheese Burger, Parma Chicken, Dead Hippie are available free flow. However, sadly the burgers that we had were overdone. While the beef burgers reminded me of an elevated version of Macdonald’s double cheese burger, the Parma chicken has its patty so tough and dry that I thought I was having a cardboard burger. Well, at least there is ice cream for dessert. Free flow Neh Neh Pops from Bjorn Shen!
If Neh Neh Pops didn’t bring a smile to your face, there is Estrella bottled beer, Sapporo drafted beer, Raspberry & Grapefruit cocktails, Rum & Ginger cocktails, House Grog and Prosecco!!!!! I was happy trying out the different drinks. At the price of $90++ per person, which includes free flow food and booze, I say it is super worth the price. Package can be upgraded to a free flow of Champagne or unlimited shots, for an additional $30. 
So if you are in for a boozy afternoon with free flow alcohol and food such as burger and sides, perhaps you can check out this place. MEATliquor EATs, BEATs & TREATs runs from 1 to 5pm where the last order is 4pm. This is definitely a come hungry and leave with a full tummy of food and bronze event.
