Being a fan of Japanese food, I was happy to discover Machida Shoten at Japan Food Town in Wisma Atria Shopping Centre.
I kid you not that Machida Shoten serves one of my most favourite ramen. I like how the Shoyu Tonkotsu ($14) comes with a thick and well seasoned pork bone broth. So good and tasted just like how a bowl of authentic Japanese ramen should be. After 2 hours of Christmas shopping, this bowl of Shoyu Tonkotsu ramen was definitely a comfort treat.
From now to 29 December 2017, with any purchase of Machida Shoten signature ramen, some of the best selling sides will be going for only $5. These include Gyozas, Iberico Pork Ribs and even a glass of beer.
Iberico Pork Ribs are cooked until soft and tender, before they are seasoned with Machida Shoten’s sweet soya sauce. They are so tender that the meat falls off the bone effortless. At $5 for 2 large ribs, it was easy on the pocket. So what are you waiting for? Time to get your ramen fix, people.
