To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Tokidoki to begin with as I find the design of the brand to be too colourful and quirky for my liking. Hence,I have never take a closer look at them till I went to Kumoya for the world’s first tokidoki pop-up café!
Tokidoki, which means “sometimes” in Japanese, is a popular lifestyle brand that offers an extensive range of products which include apparel, handbags, cosmetics, accessories, toys and more. When I was at Kumoya x tokidoki pop-up café, I managed to take a closer look at Tokidoki in details. The brand actually consisted of many very cute characters from the 5 different ranges -Cactus Friends, Donutella & Her Sweet Friends, Unicornos, Til’ Death do us Part, Punkstar and Moofia.
Kumoya cafe was filled with the cute characters from Tokidoki. From key chains to huge pushie toys, from small figurines to merchandises for sales, fans of Tokidoki will be delighted to immerse in this Tokidoki wonderland.
The beverages were nothing but overloading cuteness. You can even get a limited edition Donutelle float (while stock lasts)when you order a frappe or a super instagram worthy drink with beautiful rainbow hues of candy floss.
Besides snacks like Golden Sweet Potato Fries ($10.90), one can also get Karaage Chicken with Shoyu Glaze ($12.90)or even Truffle Fries ($11.90) in a cute Tokidoki boxes.
For those who are going for something more substantial to fill the tummy, there are a good variety of mains from Ramen ($28.90) to Japanese Curry Rice ($25.90) and even unicorn theme Breakfast ($25.90) item.
Sweet treats are always the best way to end a meal. Kumoya x tokidoki pop-up café offers 5 different desserts to suit different audience. From very cute sponge cake to kawaii parfait, there is definitely one that is made to cater to any tokidoki fan.
