Nothing delights me more than spotting a good deal and sharing it with my readers. Whenever the stress level and workload go up, I love to go for a drink or 2 with some close friends to destress. From 1st May to 7th May, Joo Bar is having the Chimaek Week promotion, where you can find really affordable drinking deals.
What I really love about the deals is it is paired with some bar bites. To be more specific, 4 flavours of succulent juicy chicken chucks for you to choose from!
Besides the existing flavours (Dak Kang Jung & Honey Butter), there are 2 new flavours (Nacho Cheese, Soy Garlic) as well. I am a huge fan of the Dak Kang Jung chicken as it has this mild spicy kick and a sweet lingering finish.
One of my dining partner loves the Nacho Cheese Chicken as there are Jalapeno slices ( a kind of chilli pepper with medium pungency) added as garnish while I feel that Nacho Cheese is still best to pair with Nacho Chips.

Set A: 1 flavour of Chicken + 1 Pint Beer ($20)
Set B: 2 flavours of Chicken + 1 Carafe Beer ($36)
Set C: 3 flavours of Chicken + 2 Carafe Beer ($56)
Set D: 4 flavour of Chicken + 1 Tower Beer ($76)
I feel that the promotion is affordable as a Carafe of Joo Beer is $24 while a 3 Litre Tower is $70. If you are with a group of 3 to 4 pax, Set D is definitely the one that would give you a run for your money! Remember to check them out before the promotion ends on 7th May!
