Hotel Review: Grand Keisha Yogyakarta by Horison

My very first trip to Yogyakarta aka Jogya was to visit Bulan, an indonesian blogger that I met during one of my media trips and we stayed at Grand Keisha Yogyakarta.

Grand Keisha Yogyakarta is actually a four star hotel and it has 177 rooms with a choice of Deluxe (166 Rooms) , Junior Suite (9 Rooms) and Executive Suite (2 Rooms).

The one that we stayed was the Deluxe Twin bed which is around 29 square meters. It is spacious enough to accommodate the 3 of us with comfortable space to walk and open our luggage. But what I really like was the 24 hours high speed internet access as it let me stay connected with my family and friends. Oh yes, you can order Gojek (food delivery) and collect the food at the hotel lobby too.

Besides the fluffy pillow with comfortable bed, there is also a desk for anyone who need to do some work. My fellow Singaporeans, remember to bring your travel adapter as the hotel is using 2 pin plugs.

Besides complimentary coffee and tea making facilities, there are also 4 bottles of water as well as toiletries and hair dryer provided.

Although one can get the breakfast at Sri Manganti located on level one of Grand Keisha Yogyakarta, I thought that food can be easily found in the cafes and eateries nearby. Come on, what is a holiday without exploring the hood, right? I will share more on a couple of cafes within 10 minutes drive soon.

While the location is not in the tourist centre, it is within walking distance to Hartono Mall and about 10 mins drive to Adisutjipto Airport and 20 minutes drive to Prambanan Temple. The staff are friendly and the space is clean. grand keisha-5
Overall, it was a pleasant stay at Grand Keisha Yogyakarta and it is a good option for a hotel room below $100 SGD. According to the hotel’s instagram, if you book directly from the hotel’s website with the promotion code “DIRECT” for a stay from now to 30 April 2019, you will get a special price. Time to book for your next holiday?
