This festive season, if you are looking for a place to experience Christmas the German way, perhaps Brotzeit is one of your best bet. From now till 2 January 2019, Brotzeit will be pushing out their limited-time-only Christmas menu featuring a tradional German Christmas dishes together with festive in-store activities.
No trip to Brotzeit is complete without savouring its signature oven-roasted crispy pork knuckle, check out the Christmas platter ($138) which is perfect to feed a group of five to six. The items included in the platter are honey-baked Christmas ham, venison and veal sausages, oven-roasted pork roulade as well as a side of truffle mash and winter vegetables.
Christmas Duo ($60) is another option which is good for smaller group of 2 to 3 pax. The Turkey Schnitzel is very much like the turkey version of chicken cordon bleu with ham and raclette cheese stuffing. You will also get thick slabs of honey-baked Christmas ham served with a festive salad and potato gratin on the side.
For people looking for single portion items, some of the Chritsmas selection at Brotzeit includes Duck Confit with Cranberry Apricot Sauce ($35), Beef Cheek with Truffle Sauce ($36), Pork Belly Roulade ($32) and Venison Sausages ($26)
For the more health conscious ones, you can choose Festive Salad with Turkey ($21).
Those who enjoy pretzels, do keep a look out for those fluffy soft Bavarian Pretzels that are made the traditional way.
To complete that German Christmas experience, don’t miss out on the specially-concocted Glühwein (Mulled Wine) from Brotzeit! These warm mulled wines are available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. If you are hesitant about ordering a full portion, Brotzeit also offers sampling portions of non-alcoholic Glühwein to shoppers in the malls across the 4 outlets and dine-in guests will receive complimentary Glühwein shooters during this festive period.
Brotzeit Christmas menu is definitely not limited to Xmas celebration as it is available till 2 Jan. Perhaps, this can be another choice for your New Year celebration.
