Fans of poultry, from March till June, Si Chuan Dou Hua at TOP of UOB Plaza and PARKROYAL on Beach Road running 2 wonderful promotion to woo fans of poultry!
I kid you not, depending on your preference between duck and chicken, it is really eat as much as you like of Roasted Peking Duck or popular Sichuan Chicken favourites together with appetizer, soup, side dish, a rice or noodle course and a dessert at $58++ per person with minimum 2 persons to dine.
At Top of UOB Plaza, Si Chuan Dou Hua is running the “Deep Duck Secrets” Dining Promotion where diners get to enjoy free flow Roasted Peking Duck (北京片皮鸭). A big big yes to those amber crispy duck’s skin!
On top of that, you get to enjoy a serving of robust and flavourful Boiled Duck Soup with Preserved Chilli, Preserved Vegetables and White Cabbage (泡椒老菜莆津白滚鸭件汤) which is served piping hot and packed with some heat.
Diners also get to choose between Deep-fried Prawns in Passion Fruit Sauce (百香果虾球) and Stir-Fried Asparagus, Fungus
and Lotus Root (伴水芹香). I would say it is a tough choice for me as the prawns are so fat and pump while the stir-fried asparagus are cooked beautifully without any fibrous part and the black and white fungus also added some textural bite to it on top of all the health benefits!
The meat from the ducks is also cooked into a Stir-Fried Brown Rice with Minced Duck Meat (鸭粒五谷炒饭) or Stir-Fried Bee Hoon and Vermicelli with Shredded Duck Meat (或鸭丝炒鸳鸯米粉). We love how the both stables are packed with wok hey.
Wrapping the meal on a sweet note, one can never miss Si Chuan Dou Hua’s signature dessert Homemade Fine Bean Curd with Wolfberries (枸杞甜豆花) which is so soft, so smooth and so silky that one perhaps is not enough if I have not taken my countless serving of Roasted Peking Duck.

Fans of Si Chuan Dou Hua at PARKROYAL on Beach Road can never forget the beautiful Sichuan cuisine that it serves. From now to June, diners can enjoy “Chicken Little” set menu, which is inspired by Sichuan classics “Chong Qing” Diced Chicken with Dried Chilli (重庆辣子鸡), Diced Chicken with Dried Chilli and Cashew Nuts (宫保腰果鸡丁) and Stir Fried Chicken in Garlic and Chilli Sauce (鱼香八块鸡).
Starting off the meal with Sichuan Three Delicacies before enjoying a Double boiled Kampung Chicken Soup with Bolete Mushroom(牛肝菌螺头鸡) and a side dish of Braised Kai Lan with Dried Scallop (瑶柱扒港芥兰).
Though I have stopped taking beef, my dining partner, Ivan, did mentioned that the Homemade Spinach Noodles Soup with
Wagyu Beef (和牛青菠面) is really good with the broth being flavoursome and the noodle cooked just right to his liking.
After a hot and spicy meal, I am also very glad that Chilled Chrysanthemum Apple Jelly (苹果菊花冻) was served as it is refreshing and helps to alleviate the heat.
For those who like to have some wine to go with your food, you can also top up $38++ for a bottle of Alto Los Romeros Cabernet Sauvignon, which is an easy to drink red with notes of overripe black fruit. Oh yes, don’t forget to use your UOB credit cards for a 15% off on these 2 set menus. From now to September 30, you can also purchase Si Chuan Dou Hua’s 40% off dining vouchers for your next dine in experience. Better saving while enjoy your fav food, why not?
