With Disney Christmas Street Lightings Up at Orchard Road, many of us might be comtemplating heading down to capture some beautiful memories. How about having a Christmas gathering over good food nearby? Located at a stone throw from Orchard Mrt Station, Four Seasons Hotel is one of my best kept secret for lovely ambiance with totally delectable food selection!

When I saw Corn Bread as part of the menu, I was half disappointed as I prefer the real bread if you know what I mean. But the corn bread was so soft with a good textural bite from the corn bits. Slather some butter and you can easy satisfy any bread lovers with it.

From the semi buffet spread, one can also find Figs Chutney, Duck Liver Parfait and Jamon Iberico de Bellota.

I am not a fan of turkey as I usually find it very dry but the Oven-Roasted Organic Turkey accompanied with chestnut stuffing was so moist and tender that for a moment I thought I was eating chicken!

While many might have the misconception that vegetarian option might be a tad too boring, the Risotto funghi from the Market Fresh Semi- Buffet was one of the highlights for me. I adore the rich and creamy flavours of the risotto with generous serving of forest mushrooms, shaved parmesan and freshly shaved black truffles! Unless you don’t like mushrooms if not what is there not to like about this dish? Oh yes, it is also available on the regular ala carte menu at $32.

For people with sweettooth, don’t forget to try the Festive Fruit Cake, German Stollen, Chestnuts Mont Blanc, Mango Cheesecake, Red Velvet and Hazelnut Royaltine cakes on the semi buffet line.
If you are having the festive 3/5 course dinner on New Year’s Eve, you are in for a treat. The Spiced Pumpkin Souffle was baked to perfection, fluffy and soft with a nice aroma of the Christmas spices: cinnamon and nutmeg. I like how it was light and does not leave one feeling stuffed.
From now to 30 December 2018, 12.00pm to 2.30pm, One-Ninety Restaurant’s popular Market-Fresh Buffet is back with a festive spread. Some of the highlights include Oven-Roasted Organic Turkey accompanied with chestnut stuffing as well as a dazzling selection of delectable appetizers, imported cheeses from France and Italy, and decadent desserts served free-flow on the table spread.
There is also Family Recreation Room available from December 22, 2018 to January 1, 2019 with fun-filled activities for kids such as colouring, movie-screening and futsal.

In addition to roasted turkeys, you can also find Westholme grass-fed ribeye, honey- mustard glazed hams and roasted leg of lamb available for Festive Takeaways. Oh yes, not to forget the delightful selection of festive sweets, from traditional Christmas fruit cakes to Macae Chocolate Yule log with orange and almond, and Audrey’s signature nougats prepared by Pastry Chef Audrey Yee, a Four Seasons veteran and graduate of the renowned Le Cordon Bleu School in London.
