Enjoy European Cheese 2017

I have always been a lover of cheese. Hence, I will jump at any chance to have some good cheese paired with wine. Just 2 days back, I have attended a cheese appreciation masterclass with Morgane Foucaud, founder of La Petite Boutique! If you are a cheese lover, stay with me as I unveil an awesome event that is happening today and tomorrow, an event that no cheese lover should miss!

Laitière (CNIEL) hosted a by-invitation-only cheese appreciation event at Me@OUE on 15 November 2017.

Not only did Cheese aficionados have the chance to go through a blind tasting of European cheeses such as Gorgonzola, Comté, Munster, Saint-Nectaire and Camembert, there was a “Make Your Own Cheese” workshop where invited guests infused the ricotta cheeses with a variety of spice, to create their own unique blend.

Best of all, we got to get to try out some really awesome cheese-inspired canapas which were fashioned around some of Europe’s finest cheeses such as Cheddar Crystal Prawn Gratin, Breaded Okinawa Snapper Roll with Asparagus and Emmental, Alaskan Black Cod Spring Roll with Reblochon, and Mushroom Camembert Yam Dumpling that were specially prepared by the kitchen at ME@OUE.
