Whenever I think of
BRAND’s chicken essence, it will always remind me of my mother’s love. Since young, my mother has been giving me BRAND’s chicken essence to drink. Be it during examination period or during times when I feel very tired, mum would always warm up a bottle of chicken essence for me.
This year, in celebration of its 180th anniversary, BRAND’S® has partnered World Vision International with an aim to raise S$180,000 and sponsor 180 kids across the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and China in 2015.
This regional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative marks BRAND’S® 180 years of commitment in providing overall wellness and in helping people unlock their potential for a greater life.

The Star Vista, there is a BRAND’S® Hope In A Bottle campaign to encourage the public to join the good cause. There will be a line-up of exciting activities for all to enjoy. You can start by getting the BRAND’S® Coin Slot Caps at two dollars each from the slot machine, which will be donated to World Vision. The Coin Slot Caps turn used BRAND’S® bottles into coin banks, which can be filled and donated back to World Vision or kept as a collector’s item. Do not underestimate the power of these small little bottles, I have tried and tested that each of them can hold 45 $1 coin (old/ new). There are 5 colours to be collected – red, pink, yellow, light green and dark green.
The amount ($45) is used to cover the basic needs of one underprivileged child for a month. IF you find saving up everyday too troublesome, you can also donate $50 to get one of the BRAND’S® bottles that are specially designed by The New Paper’s Creative Team.
Children can also enroll in workshops where they can paint their very own BRAND’S® bottles or learn how to transform them into mini terrariums. Simply with a donation of $10, you will get a decorative kit to personalize your very own BRAND’S® bottle. A Photo Wall is also put up where visitors can capture the fun moments at the event. The proceeds made from the event will be donated to the World Vision. So if you want to do something different this weekend for a good cause, hop on to your car or the public transport and head down to The Star Vista to join in the fun!
