Although Singapore is a country with no four seasons, I like how in the month of february Singaporeans would celebrate the arrival of spring. This year, Marina Mandarin has introduced scrumptious dining menus and takeaway delights at Peach Blossoms, a Halal-certified Chinese New Year-themed buffet spread at AquaMarine as well as catering packages for private reunions, and a special 20% discount for room stays.
The Chinese New Year Menu starts from $158 per person (minimum of 2 pax) with lou hei included. The Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng with Crispy Whitebait and Nashi Pear is well played out with the layering of different textures.
Takeaway items from Peach Blossoms includes decadent treasure pots to barbecued meats and festive cookies that one can enjoy in the comfort of one’s home. Some note worthy items include the Golden Pig-shaped Nian Gao ($38) which is new on the menu as well as the Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng with Crispy White bait and Nashi Pear ($78 for 5 pax, $118 for 10 pax), Taro and Radish Cake with Preserved Meat Nian Gao ($32.80) and the signature Blossoming Abalone Treasure Pot ($388). Oh yes, there is also a vegetarian yusheng ($68 for 5 pax, $98 for 10 pax) and Vegetarian Deluxe Treasure Pot ($308) on the takeaway menu.
