As the clock strike 12 midnight, fans of Japanese character, Cinnamoroll, please rejoices as it marks the beginning of the celebration of Cinnamoroll’s 15th anniversary in Singapore as well as the pop-up Cinnamoroll theme café collaboration with Kumoya. From 17 May 2017 to 13 August 2017, fans of Cinnamoroll can pop by Kumoya to try out the special Cinnamoroll themed menu which was curated and styled by the super duper talented Shirley Wong aka Little Miss Bento together with the kitchen team at Kumoya.
For our Muslim friends who loves Cinnamoroll, you will be glad to find out that Kumoya is Singapore’s first Halal-certified Japanese-French café! So let’s enjoy and have some really KAWAII dining with Cinnamoroll!
Besides having Cinnamoroll plushies which are specially imported from Japan. You will be thrilled to find Kumoya totally transformed into a Cinnamoroll wonderland! Yes, major love!!
For those who don’t know Cinnamoroll, Cinnamoroll is a white puppy with long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll. He was created in 2001 and is ranked No. 2 on Sanrio’s 2016 Global Character ranking. I can totally understand why is it ranked TOP 5 among Sanrio Characters for the past five years, too KAWAII!!!
Like all theme cafes, for Cinnamoroll x Kumoya collaboration, you will find Cinnamoroll basically from the mains to the desserts and the drinks.
While the food is cute to look at, I would really prefer to spend my time hugging Cinnamoroll. Oh yes, among the mains that I have tried, the waffles tasted the best imho. So don’t forget to try them!
In the event of overwhelming response hor, please be more understanding that per customer is limited to 90 minutes and there is a minimum spending of $10 per pax. So have fun and enjoy soaking in the world of Cinnamoroll, peeps! If you don’t want to squeeze with the crowd, the pop up cafe is open till 13 August 2017. Enjoy!
