There is certainly no fixed way to make this beloved dessert, and Antoinette has proven this fact once again with the enchanting cake creations that they have conjured up this merry season. Hivernette ($75)
Antoinette’s latest savoury cake creation will certainly leave your guests gaping in awe. Featuring four layers of honey farm bread drizzled with olive oil, mustard butter and tomato jam spreads, this ‘cake’ is a delicious festive surprise. Each layer holds a different surprise – wild mushroom ragout, cornichon and caramelised onions and wagyu beef brisket braised in wine. Topped with beetroot cream and fresh roasted vegetables, you are definitely in for a ‘healthy’ treat.

Fraiser ($55/$110) Light, simple and crowned with an opulent array of fresh Japanese Chitose strawberries from Cameron Highlands, this almond sponge cake is the perfect treat for strawberry lovers. The Fraiser is an elegant cake that makes a fitting finale to any Christmas meal. The smooth vanilla Chantilly and pistachio crème mousseline goes in perfect harmony. Drizzled with a raspberry eau de vie, a bite of the cake is equivalent to a taste of heaven.

Red Rosette ($150) And of course, what is a Christmas celebration without a dazzling Christmas tree? This edible centrepiece is made up of a rich chocolate cake, with layers of light chocolate ganache and orange confit decked in between. Filled with almond nougatine, the nuts add a delightful crunch that will leave you asking for more. The stunning cake is adorned with mesmerising swirls of dark chocolate Chantilly and finished with a red cocoa spray. Isn’t it almost too beautiful to be eaten?

Superlova Logcake ($55/$110) The Superlova Logcake is a sight to behold with its crown of baby macarons, marshmallows and coral sponge. The cake features one of Antoinette’s most popular cake flavours in a log cake rendition. Inside, a delicious concoction of rose petal mousse, rose finger sponge, yuzu cream, lychee and raspberry jelly. With its cheery pink colour, the cake emblems the Christmas cheer perfectly.
