Located at Mandarin Gallery, Arteastiq is well known for its tea selection and also for its art jamming session. As we step into the month of love, February, Arteastiq will be revamping their breakfast menu. In conjunction with Valentine’s Day, Arteastiq will be introducing the V’day menu on 14 February. This is also a peek to the revamped menu as some of the items will be in to stay. I am very blessed to be invited to join Ian, Pauline, Shirley and Amie for a media preview.
The renovation adopted is more classy and for those sitting by the windows, you will have a view of Orchard road.

Gentleman’s Cyperian Affair |
|
Ladies’ Roasted Sweet Potato and Rosemary Salad |
For starters, the guys will have the Cyperian affair which is pan fried haloumi cheese with walnuts, grapes, honey, croutons, arugula and seasoned with some balsamic dressing. As for the ladies, they will be having the Roasted Sweet Potato and Rosemary salad.
|
Gentlemen’s Frikadel et rosti |
|
Ladies’ Crabmeat benedict |
The ladies menu of the crabmeat benedict is a twist from the usual affair. A well seasoned crab cake with brioche base topped perfectly poached egg, simply divine! I hope that this is one of the dish to stay. 😉 The gentleman will be enjoying the chicken frikadel with sweet potato rosti, mustard, horseradish and brown sauce.
|
Pear Tea Granita |
A refreshing pear tea granita is then introduced as a palatte cleanser, to enjoy the dishes that follow after.
|
Gentlemen’s Duck pancake |
|
Ladies’ Barley risotto |
The highlights of the night go to the mains. The gentlemen’s duck pancake inspired by 3 duck dishes – peking duck, duck confit and french duck a l’orange. This is really good and I wish that this dish will be staying in the revamped menu as well. The ladies has barley risotto which has a chewy texture yet so fragrant and buttery that you can’t help but to reach out for more.

Gentlemen’s French Toast with Brie |
|
Ladies’ Osmanthus Creme Brulee |
As I always said what is life without dessert? The gentlemen’s french toast with Brie is like an elevated version of grilled cheese sandwich. Interestingly, the maple syrup goes really well with the french toast and it is a memorable dessert to have. Everything would be perfect if the ice cream is not so sweet.
So peeps, if you have not decided on where to go on Valentine’s day, why not make a reservation to celebrate this special day of the year with your loved one at Arteastiq. The menu which consists of a total of 9 different dishes cost only $188++ per couple. Do note that the portion of the food from pics above is for 2 to 5 pax and the actual portion will be smaller.
