Located at Bayfront MRT is where Marina Bay Sands Singapore is located. Besides being well known for having one of the 2 casinos in Singapore, the hotel is well known for its infinity pool and its awesome panoramic views. 2 months ago, I was blessed to enjoy my 4 days 3 nights stay at one of its room, Grand Club Room.
The Grand Club room is a 79sqm room with a 42-inch television, mini fridge, nespresso machine, in-room safe and a king size bed. The bed is soft and comfy but the pillows are a bit too soft for my liking. Personally I feel that the pillow is lack of support. ;(
I like the fact that besides a long working desk, there is a living room area. I had a Christmas gathering here with a group of 10 lovelies here.
Did I mention that the bathroom for the grand club room is huge?! Besides the walk-in shower and the toilet, the bathroom basins are built for a couple. So nobody is going to fight over who is using the sink in the morning. Ladies would be so thrilled as there is a weighting machine in the bathroom so we can still keep track our weight. 😉
Personally I love the free standing bathtub here. The shape of it is so sleek and there is a number of bath accessories (bath salt, shower sponge & luffa) provided. P.S: There is no lock to lock the sliding door.
Besides complimentary breakfast at The Club, access to Infinity pool, Banyan Tree Fitness CLub, there are also complimentary internet access (wired/ wireless) and garment pressing of one item per day. But what I like the most is the complimentary access to the Marina Bay Sands Club that offers complimentary afternoon tea, cocktails & canape hour and non-alcoholic beverages. So it is really good if you just want to chillax in the hotel without going anywhere.
Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay and I enjoyed the complimentary services at the Marina Bay Sands Club very much. In fact, the service crew there is very friendly and attentive, they even remember what was my hotel room number. However if you are looking at the services from the hotel in-room services, it fell slightly below my expectation. I have requested for some cutleries for my Christmas gathering. However, after 4 hours of waiting, there was no sight of the cutleries.
