Coffee Festival 2017 at Marina Bay Cruise Centre

Coffee Festival is back again! As a coffee lover, how can I miss this chance to visit Coffee Festival, right? For Coffee Festival 2017, it is Marina Bay Cruise Centre. This year, I have the opportunity to participate at the Coffee Fest by helping out at The Pourover Bar x Foxhole Cafe x Rainbow Works booth. Do say hi if you are dropping by. But meanwhile stay with me as I share more about Coffee Festival 2017.

Regular ticket would set you back $22 but each ticket comes together with a festival goodie bag which includes 2 sampling drinks and a SCF card which entitled you to discounts and offers at participating cafes till 31st Aug 2017.

For coffee lovers who are getting more serious with your coffee and wanted to get some new “toys”, I have spotted a corner where you can find some of the best coffee grinders and coffee machines in the market.

Besides coffee machines, coffee supplies and coffee beans, you will also be able to find very much food related stuff such as Tea, Sake and Chocolate. There is this drinking chocolate located at level 2 that I am quite impressed. We have all seen chocolate in baking and food but the chocolate at Grounded is very niche and specialised in only drinking chocolate. So you will find mint chocolate, orange chocolate and several other flavours here. I have personally tried the Mint Chocolate. OMG! If you like something really au naturel and minty, this is the one. They use mint essential oil to give you that lingering minty sensation at the back of your throat! Major love, can?

For all the cafe lovers, you will be thrilled by the number of cafes that are participating this year. Many of them are very beautifully set up too. I bet a lot of money are invested in their booths! One of the booth that caught my eyes is the Shiseido booth. Last year, they have imported some cakes from the Shiseido cafe in Japan. I hope that this year, they are doing the same too. When beauty and food come together, happy is me who has great love for both.

If you are one of those who are worried about getting hungry, your worries are unfounded. The food section is bigger and better this year! In fact, the whole event space is more organised and neat.

For those who love coffee, you can also find the “Coffee Break” app booth here at level 2. If you are travelling here by train aka MRT, it is at Marina South Pier MRT and about 5 to 8 minutes walk from the MRT. As a coffee lover and a visitor for both Coffee Festival 2016 & 2017, I am elated to find myself in here this year. Although there is no lifestyle section this year, Coffee Festival 2017 is more spacious and better organised. I am going to immerse myself in the coffee world, talk to you later!

P.S: Pictures are taken before the event starts (I came in too early as an exhibitor) so there are more than what I have taken as many booths are not ready yet. Check them out if you have time. =)
