Eyebrow embroidery @ The Brow Station

Do our eyebrows serve a purpose? Besides keeping sweat and rain away from our eyes so that our vision can be clear, I think our brows serve a very important role to how we look. They framed our face and gives it some structure. Hence, it is definitely a must imho to groom our brows to give us the confidence to face the world!
The Brow Station
This was me before I did my eyeborw embroidery when I don’t draw my eyebrow. Although I had my eyebrow embroidery done a few years back, the colour has faded off. Hence, I looked rather tired and haggard whenever I am out without drawing my eyebrow.

Which is why I have decided to do my eyebrow embroidery again and this time round with Vivian from The Brow Station after reading heaps of good reviews on their Facebook page. This is taken immediately after doing the eyebrow embroidery. As you can see, I looked so much fresher and as if I have been well rested when it was only several hours apart from the above picture.

Before we start, Vivian explained to me the differences between Misty Eyebrow Embroidery and 6D Eyebrow Embroidery. While Misty Eyebrow Embroidery uses 2 kinds of needles as well as different shades of brown to create a gradient effect for natural-looking eyebrows, 6D embroidery uses hair-like strokes overlapping each other in the direction of your brows growth to give it a natural and realistic look. As I have previous done 6D eyebrow embroidery before, Vivian advised me to do Misty Eyebrow Embroidery for a more optimal result.

After we have came into consensus with the eyebrow shape that I am comfortable with, Vivian applied numbing cream on my brows to ensure that I will suffer from minimal discomfort during the treatment.

20 minutes later, Vivian shown me the needles that she will be using to help me create my ideal eyebrows and we proceed on with the eyebrow embroidery. To be honest, I do not feel much pain during the process. If I am to rate the pain level, it was 1.5/10. I guess my pain endurance level was very high and the numbing cream are really doing its job very well.

After 1 and a half hour, the eyebrow embroidery was done. A final touch was to apply a layer of the colouring over the eyebrows and I was good to go.
The Brow Station-7
Although The Brow Station was located inside a beauty salon in Orchard Plaza, it was a cozy space and Vivian has been very patient with me during the whole process. Personally, I like how she would follow up with me every other day on my healing process. I was also given a scar cream to be applied twice daily. Vivian also reminded me to keep the brows away from water and try not to touch or peel off scabs.

Life went on as per usual after the eyebrow embroidery and I like that I can go out without makeup without looking tired or haggard. The healing process was also very smooth and painless that it seamlessly incorporated into my daily life without me realising that my brows have healed. I guess having my eyebrow done by someone who is skillful and has years of experiences with eyebrow embroidery definitely helped. No longer, I looked tired when I am having no make up. Most importantly, this boosted my confidence level and gave me a fresher look. As Vivian is a freelancer, the price for eyebrow embroidery is also more affordable. She has four type of Eyebrow Embroidery –

– 6D Eyebrow Embroidery($288)
– Misty Eyebrow Embroidery ($288)
– Powder Mist Eyebrow Embroidery ($388)
– 6D + Misty Eyebrow Embroidery ($398)

All price include one touch up and a scar cream.
