A girl can never get enough of too many cosmetics, isn’t it? In the month of Sept, Etude House has launched a new range of products, the Bling Me Prism collection together with the Curl Fix mascara. For the media launch, a beauty trail was organised for a group of social media influencers and enthusiasts to know about the products. I was blessed to be invited to the media event.
The event started at Etude House’s Wisma outlet, where everyone was given a EZlink card and a scotching system card. The one who can finish the beauty trail within the shortest timing and gets the highest scores while completing the beauty trail quests throughout 3 Etude House’s outlets (Wisma, Plaza Singapura and Vivo City) wins. Overall it was a fun filled session, learning more about the Bling Me Prism Collection and Curl Fix mascara. At the end of the event, everyone of us get to bring back a bag of goodies which consists of the Bling Me Prism collection and Curl Fix mascara. The Bling Me Prism in Color Liquid Lips Collection consists of 5 new different liquid lips shades (Descending order: RD303 Ruby Ring in Red; OR206 Spangle in Coral; PK011 Star in Pink Light; PK012 Hologram in Jewel; PK010 Bling in Pink Beam) which are also limited editions. So if you like the shades, do drop by any of the Etude House outlets to get it before it is gone. After using the products for a while, here is my verdict. Personally I like the ease of application of the liquid lip colour. The colours simply glide onto the lips quite effortlessly. However it is not very easy to have a very even application as each stroke from the doe-shape applicator brings a rather intense colour to the lips. It is also good to know that the liquid lip colours have moisturising effect that do not leave your lips looking dry and chapped. Among the colours that I have tried, I am rather surprised by the OR206 Spangle in Coral which has an more orangish tone but it matches my skin colour rather well. If you like similar colour, you can also try the PK010 Bling in Pink Beam which also has a warm pink tone. For people who likes hot red lippies, RD303 Ruby Ring in Red is your answer but I find the colour kinda difficult to apply without smudging. Anyone has a tip or 2 to share on how to apply this without smudging?

| Bling Me Prism Eyes ($11.90) |
The Bling Me Prism Eyes consists of 5 beautiful shades (Desceding order: #02 Sunny Carat; #04 Pearlfect; #01 Honey Clam; #05 Bling Bold; #03 Darling Heart) with shimmery effects. Amongst the 5, #04 Pearlfect is my favourite as it served well as a good highlighter with a very small amount needed. Although some of the colours look very bold and intense, when applied onto the eye lids and blended properly, they work better than powdered eyeshadow. The rule of thumb while handling Bling Me Prism Eyes is to wait till it is slightly drier before you start to blend it. The effect is also more lasting as compared to powder eyeshadow.

Last but not least, we were introduced to the Lashperm Curlfix Mascara. This product has amazing waterproof properties which makes it super lasting! At the end of the day, you can be sure that you are no where near looking like a panda. It is resistant from water, sweat and sebum!

Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara features its “Dual Jelly Brush” and is available in 4 shades [#1 – Black; #2 – Brown (Limited Edition); #3 – Plum Burgundy (Limited Edition); #4 – Pink (Limited Edition)]. The limited edition Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara #2 (Brown), #3 (Plum Burgundy) and #4 (Pink) will be available exclusively at ETUDE HOUSE Wisma Atria while Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara #1 – Black is available at all ETUDE HOUSE Singapore stores. Not only does it lengthens, it curls the lashes. If you are using any normal cleanser, you might have a hard time removing it, so the usage of a eye makeup remover for waterproof makeup is advisable.
