I got to know about Cake Avenue through Instagram with their pretty looking cakes. Thus I decided to make a trip down to check it out since it was newly opened.

The cakes served here are very pretty looking. Presentation wise, they scored. Perhaps due to my liking of Japanese confectionery over traditional cakes, I was not very impressed with the texture of the cake. Maybe for people who prefer old school cakes might like this better.

| Litchy-Me & Citrus Zinger Test- Tubies ($4.90 each) |
Litchy Me is actually an ice-blended lychee drink while Citrus Zinger is Orange and lime juice ice-blended. The drinks are great quenchers for Singapore’s sweltering weather. However they are too sweet for my liking. Perhaps some fine tuning would do justice to these drinks.
Besides cakes, there are also food serve here. I have not tried the food but the cakes and drinks did not really wow me. However I like the natural lighting from this cafe and it is also very spacious. It is perhaps an ideal place to catch up with friends, to read a book or just laze a quiet afternoon away. So if you enjoy searching for cafe hidden from the bustle and hustle, you might like to check out this place.
