Alright, this is what I learnt from a make-up artist during one of the events I attended. For smoky eyes make up, always do the eye make up before you put on your foundation.

With all the late nights from mahjong and such during Chinese New Year, I think concealer is a live saviour to those with dark circles like me!

After applying GUERLAIN Multi-Perfecting Concealer ($62), I think the dark ring is already less visible! But what I really like about it is it feels very light on the skin and has really good coverage. Oh yes, that brightening effects which makes the eyes look less tired, how not to love it! Simply dab lightly and blend with the fingertip. Voilà, pretty pretty eyes!!

After using desired eyeshadow to create that smoky eyes, I would always use an eyeliner to “open up” the eyes. I am currently using 12hr Contour Eye Pencil (01 Black Lace) from Sephora Collection ($14).

Really love how long lasting it is without smudging at all. Although it is waterproof, it can be easily removed with makeup remover.

And yes, not to forget how pigmented it is and how easily it glides on my eyes!

After doing the smoky eyes, it is time to apply the foundation and set the makeup. Besides using the GUERLAIN Meteorites – Light Revealing Pearls Of Powder ($84), I am also using GUERLAIN Meteorites Compact – Light-Revealing Powder ($84). The GUERLAIN Meteorites Compact – Light-Revealing Powder is more for me to use when I am on the go and required to do a touch up.

I love the lovely floral scent from the Meteorites and the packaging is so pretty. It always lifted up my mood whenever I am using them. The beauty of GUERLAIN Meteorites is it is very pigmented and a little goes a long way. It is hard to resist that illuminating glow. I am more of a light make up person and I like how it doesn’t leave my face with a matt and powdery look. If you like GUERLAIN products just like I do, you can now shop for your favourite GUERLAIN products at Sephora.
