Beauty Review: Eyelash Extension @ Eye Studio Tokyo in Liang Court

I am known among my friends as a very lazy girl when it comes to beautifying myself. I hate the regime of putting on and removing make up. Especially the make up around the eyes area which always leave me looking like a panda at the end of the day. Hence, I am always on the lookout for some alternatives to skip the eye makeup regime. When I get to know about Eye Studio Tokyo from Shirley that offer very natural eyelash extensions, I decided to give it a try.
Upon stepping into the Eye Studio Tokyo, you will be greeted by clean and kawaii Japanese theme deco.

Initially I was a bit worried that there will be a communication breakdown as all the ladies who are doing the eyelash extensions are Japanese. However, we did not have any language barrier while communicating about what to do. I was first asked to choose the type of curls that I prefer, followed by the thickness of each lash and the design that I opt for.

As I wanted something more natural, the lady who did for me suggested 60 lashes on each eye with 0.15mm C curl lashes ($100). I have also opted for a cute look as it is supposed to make my eyes look bigger. hahaha. I am so vain right? After the consultation, I was brought to a bed to do my lashes. Although it is not a confined room, curtains are drawn to give privacy to each customer.

Before
After 1 week

As you can see before the eyelash extensions, my lashes were slightly curl but short. However after the extension, I have fuller lashes and they are longer and more curled.

After 3 weeks

Although after 3 weeks, the lashes were not as full as when it was first done. I am still very pleased with the result as my first eyelash extensions that I have done years ago only lasted me for 2 weeks. In comparison, the lashes are softer and did not cause me any discomfort. Although this is more expensive to many other eyelash extension places, I find that the service and quality of the eyelash extension is much better. Hence I went back to do another eyelash extension today before I fly off to Sydney for my holiday.  🙂

P.S: DO remember to call and book your appointment in advance as they are usually fully booked. I have tried to book an appointment 1 or 2 days in advance but my effort was futile. The price of the eyelash extensions starts from $50 to $120 depending on the number of lashes you opt for. However there is also a package of unlimited lashes for 3 times at $260 which I opted for as I find it more value for money.
