Remember in my previous post, I went for botox treatment? After about 10 days, I went back to do my filler treatments on my forehead, cheeks and chin using Juvéderm VOLIFT with Lidocaine.
Juvéderm has a range of different fillers for different purposes. For example, Juvéderm VOLIFT with Lidocaine could lessen the appearance of laugh lines and face contouring while Juvéderm VOLUMA restores volume loss from deeper areas of the face. But I guess it is best to let the doctor decide which is most suitable for you. I have also done some research on lidocaine, it helps to relieve pain and itch. On top of that, Juvéderm fillers contain hyaluronic acid. Thus, it has hydrating effect on the skin.
We started the treatment with the usual cleaning, followed by numbing process and Dr Yim marking the areas onto which the fillers will be injected.
The whole process took less than half an hour and just like the botox treatment. Unlike my previous nose filler treatment in Bangkok, I did not feel as if my face got bashed or being pushed too hard. Although I do feel some pressure applied to the areas where the fillers were done, the whole procedure was done gently. I am also very glad that I have Shirley with me. It does help to make me less nervous.
I am really happy with the botox and fillers treatments. Especially the botox on my frown lines because my frown lines always give people the wrong impression that I am angry, upset or unhappy. At least now, I do not hear any of such comments. The most surprising part is the filler for my chin. I have a very long face but the chin filler did not make my face any longer, it made my face more defined and sharp. Thank you Dr Yim for the recommendation. I seldom take selfie or welfie after I started blogging and instagraming as I take pictures of things more than myself. But these days, I started taking selfie and welfie again because I feel more confident and beautiful.
How much is the filler treatment?
The filler treatments start from $1,000 (per syringe) and depending on the areas that you are doing. For example, for me, I had 2 syringes of Juvéderm VOLIFT for my forehead, cheeks and chin.
