Ultimate Guide to Macao Part 2

Previously in the Ultimate Guide to Macao Part 1, I have shared about several places to go in Coloane, Taipa and Macao Peninsula, today I am going to share more on all the must dos in Cotai area.

Macao Day 3-18
Macao Day 3-19
For those who are a huge fan of Batman, follow the dark knight to Gotham City to fight the notorious criminals like The Joker, Two-Face and Bane! I am sure the pulse-racing 4D flight simulation ride (Adult HK$150; Child HK$120; Senior / Macau Resident HK$125) through the city in the Batplane would make you love Batman even more.

Macao Day 3-50
However if you have acrophobia (phobia for height) or get motion sickness easily, you can opt for the Golden Reel aka Figure 8 Ferries Wheel (Adult HK$100; Child HK$80; Senior / Macau Resident HK$85) instead! Admiring the bird’s eye view from 130 meters above ground does make one forget height (speaking from my own experience) and time flew by before you realised.
Macao Day 3-17
Macao Day 3-52
Studio City is one of the newest building in Macao which offers a day of fun suitable for all ages. Don’t forget to slot in House of Magic, a 3-theater arena where you enter the world of illusions and trickery. Keep your eyes open all the time to avoid missing out anything from the amazing magical performances!

Another iconic building in Cotai is the Eiffel Tower at The Parisian Macao. It is the world tallest and most realistic Eiffel Tower replica with 2 observation decks (level 7 and 37). Approximately one half of the actual size Eiffel Tower in Paris, I guess this is the closest you can get to Eiffel Tower if you do not want to spend a bomb on the air ticket. =)

Macao Skywalk (1 of 10)
Do not underestimated Macao. It is really a place where there is something to offer for everyone. For the daredevils,  don’t miss the sky drills at Macao Tower brought to you by world-renowned commercial bungy inventor and expert AJ Hackett!
Macao Skywalk (9 of 58)
From skywalk 233m above ground to Tower Climb, the only tower in world that allows you to climb to very top of the tower’s antennae, to famous AJ Hackett Bungy Jump, a free falling at 200 km/h, there are different levels of fun to suit your risk appetite. Something different from the Bungy Jump in Macao is that you will rebound and jump into a standing position which allows you to get a better view of the surrounding. I suggest going in the morning when they are just open or in the evening when the sun is just setting so that it is not that hot. If bungy jump is too adventurous for your liking, you can always try the Macao Skywalk to get a 360 degree view of Macao.

Macao Day 3-64
If you are a frequent musical and play goer, don’t miss The House of Dancing Water Show. It is one of the most spectacular water based show that I have ever watched.
Macao Day 3-65
Macao Day 3-71
Macao Day 3-72
The performance takes place in a pool the size bigger than 5 Olympic size pool and watch it transforms into a grandstand where water diving stunts meets motorbikes acrobatics stunts, aerial acrobatics and more!
Macao Day 3-76
Macao Day 3-77
Macao Day 3-80
Macao Day 3-82
There are no dull moments throughout the 90 minutes performance and choreography was stunning! Although some part of the show might be a bit confusing, it is nevertheless an enchanting show that got unanimous approval from all of my travelmates!
