Available at FairPrice Finest stores at $39 per bottle, this Shiraz has an intense and complex notes of a mix of dark berry compote and blood plums, with a perfumed spice lift and cohesive hints of French oak. It offers a soft, rich palate with bright berry flavours, fleshy fruit, plush tannins and a hint of spice, tied together with balanced, integrated oak. Good palate length and elegant, structural line.

2) WOLF BLASS GOLD LABEL CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Selling at $32 (Usual Price: $42) in Cold Storage, Wolf Blass Gold Label Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon gave a generous yet smoothly textured red wine with an aromatic nose of mulberry, blackcurrant, chocolate and delicate mint, with subtle notes of cedar oak, olive, and light, dried tobacco. The wine is best paired with red meats, pastas, cheddar cheese, broccoli, and anything with fennel, rosemary and mint. Some of the dishes that go with Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon will be a seared rib-eye with caramelised shallots, or slow-roasted Moroccan lamb.

3) PENFOLDS KOONUNGA HILL CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2016
Found at all FairPrice & SPC outlets at $34, Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon has an excellent structure and length as it breathed enough, it will gain further complexity with short term cellaring.

4) PENFOLDS BIN 28
If you are looking for a more robust and generously flavoured wine, Bin 28 ($63, usual Price: $68) is a great choice that you can find in Cold Storage. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented.

5) MAISON DE GRAND ESPRIT LA MIRACULEUSE BORDEAUX
Maison De Grand La Miraculeuse Bordeaux ($29.50, usual Price: $38) is a blend of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. While this wine is classic yet approachable with an inviting palate and silky mouth-feel. The dark fruit is complemented by delicate floral notes, gentle spice and an attractive hint of oak influence. The final note is an enticing hint mint chocolate which is delightfully modest and smooth.
