First, we have Foodpanda, then deliveroo, ubereats (which is bought over by Grab) and Grab. Now, Airasia food has joined in the food delivery game in Singapore. But what is more exciting is AirAsia Food is offering unlimited free delivery from now till 16 March 2021!
Yes, you heard me right. AirAsia Food is offering Unlimited Free Delivery up to 8km from now till 16 Mar 2021 for order placed on airasia.com/food or on airasia, The ASEAN Super App. In addition to food merchants, airasia is planning to expand its e-commerce services to businesses in the beauty, cosmetics, fashion, fresh produce and hotel sectors in Singapore soon. So this is going to be an exciting time for the consumers. What’s more? For the first 50 customers who enter HANNAH20(valid till 21 March), you will enjoy an additional 20% off (capped at $5) on top of the unlimited free delivery up to 8km. Oh yes, you can also earn and pay with your BIG Points!
Airasia food is also offering F&B operators who are looking at signing up as merchants before 1 March 2021 a special sign-on rate from as low as 8% for the month of March 2021. Thereafter the normal commission rate charged by airasia food will be 15%! So my friends in F&B, chop chop scan the QR code to sign up as the delivery service will be running on flat-rate plans with a fast turnaround to allow merchants to go live within 48 hours upon registration. Not to mention that it is immediate online sign up with no contracts or forms required. Food merchants will also receive support from a dedicated account manager who will assist the F&B business online, provide system support on data analytics and monitoring. Best of all, they can also leverage on airasia’s extensive marketing effort and periodic campaigns to drive more publicity and sales to their businesses.
Tony Fernandes, CEO airasia Group mentioned that he hope that airasia food will democratise the food delivery industry by providing value, simplicity and inclusivity for everyone. By offering the lowest commission rate in town, this will enable merchants to earn more while having full control over their menu, pricing and easy access to data aside from being able to communicate directly with their customers.
Here is my lunch from Swee Choon that I have ordered via the Airasia Food. The delivery took less than an hour with food nicely packed and cutlery included. Do remember to use my promo code HANNAH20 for additional 20% off if you are ordering too since AirAsia Food is offering free delivery right?
