Let’s have a Lush Christmas

I love walking into a Lush boutique be it whether I am in Wisma Atria, Orchard Gateway, Raffles City, Suntec City or VivoCity. I like the idea of Lush using 100% recycled packaging while supporting Fair Trade and Community Trade initiatives and NOT using animal testing of ingredients! Of course, Lush’s products smell really fantastic and it also leaves the house smelling really good after use. This Christmas, let us check out what are the limited edition products available.

First and foremost, let’s check out the bath bombs! Even though I have no bath tub, these are items that I love as I can always use them when I have staycation or travel. If you have never heard of bath bombs, they are a combination of different essential oils and minerals packed generally in a sphere shape. But they are also available in different shapes and sizes. The bath bomb will fizz up at the first contact of water and essentially making your bath time more soothing and relaxing one.
Like a real softy, the limited edition Butterbear Bath Bomb ($9) not only allow you to enjoy a relaxing bath with ylang ylang oil, it bear hug your skin with the cocoa butter and cocoa powder leaving it smooth and refreshed.

Bathe amongst the galaxy with little gold glittery as you drop Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb ($14) into your bath tub. With bergamot oil, brazilian orange oil, organic cocoa butter, almond oil and creamed coconut, you can be sure that your skin soothe and hydrated after the bath.

If colours has mood lifting effect on you, Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb ($15) is one limited editionbath bomb that you should get for this festive season. Fizzing up to a beautiful myriad of colours, the bath bomb also releasing lovely scents from lavender oil, ylang ylang oil, cypress oil, bergamot oil and cassis absolute and tonka absolute to you a sweet and relaxing soak. If you can into bubble bath, the Naughty Elf Bubble Bar ($14) is one thing you don’t want to miss. This elf will froth up loads of foamy bubbles and fill up the bath room with fragrant scent of jasmine absolute and lemon myrtle oil together with a fresh, grassy fragrance from the violet leaf absolute. Of course, the elf has been really naughty hence, its hat was broke in this instant. Do note that it usually doesn’t look like this. lol
Besides Naughty Elf, there are also other limited edition bubble bar available this Christmas. Think of Candy Cane, Magic Wand and even Yule Log.

Made for both face and body, Bûche de Noël ($31/ 100g) is loaded with festive ingredients like mandarins, cranberries, ground almonds and Kaolin to bring back radiance to dry skin while the skin is softened and mositurised by fair trade organic cocoa butter.

You have heard of hair conditioner, how about body conditioner? Christingle Body Conditioner ($25/ 100g) is packed with organic jojoba oil, murumuru and Fair Trade shea butter. This product is super moisturising while menthol crystals, peppermint and spearmint oil will wake up the senses and leaves the skin feeling cool and refreshed after use.

After all the bath soak, how can we forget to moisturise our skin? Snow Fairy, Twilight and Gingerbreadman Sparkle Jar ($25 each) are some really interesting limited edition items to look out for. Rub on to get some shimmer while hydrating your skin. Sprinkle some corn flour dusting powder onto your skin to mattify as well as to add more sparkle onto your skin. This luxurious product is definitely a must get for those who wanted to pamper your skin and add some magical touch to it.

With all the Christmas party, don’t forget to take care of your skin. The Rudolph Jelly Mask ($32/ 65g) not only smells like an orange chocolate pudding, it deep cleanses, tones and brightens the skin. Simply pinch some jelly and form a paste with dry fingers then leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing it off to reveal soft and moisturised skin.
