Some weeks ago, I was food hunting around bukit timah area and I stumbled upon this ice cream stall at Bukit Timah Food Centre.This is the first time I have came across an ice cream stall in hawker centre and I find it rather interesting thus decided to give it a try. Beside having very adorable animated stall facade, there is about a big brown bear as the mascot for the stall. Cute max!
On top of that, there is also a friendly young chap who was tending the stall. After talking to him for a while, I found out that they have a shop at west coast drive as well. However the price here is definitely cheaper as it’s in an open area.
After sampling several flavours, I decided to get their earl grey latte flavour and mango tango ice cream for a very cheap and awesome price of $4.50! Personally I like the earl grey latte ice cream here as it is light and fillled with the aroma of earl grey tea. On top of that, the ice cream wasn’t overly sweet. As for the mango tango ice cream, it is also very light and has mango bits in it. Yummy!!
Overall, I like the ice cream here a lot and I highly recommended the Earl Grey Latte ice cream. As a ice cream lover, I feel that the ice cream here are considered very value for money. Best of all, from what i understand the homemade ice cream are made of low fat milk! However do note that the ice cream melt quick fast(maybe bacause is in open space?). Do give it a try if you are like me always on the look out for good ice cream. =)
