Located just next to Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, shopping and dining are highly accessible if you are staying at Grandis Hotels and Resorts in Sabah. It is also in close proximity to many attractions such as the Gaya Street Sunday Market, Filipino Market/Handicraft Market, Signal Hill Observation Deck and Atkinson Clock Tower.
I stayed in a superior room and it was comfortable and spacious with ample of space to walk around. Although I do not have a picture of the view, it has a nice view of the city. Especially during the night, with the city lights on.
What impressed me the most about the room is the fast connectivity of the complimentary Wi-Fi. All my large files and documents were sent out within seconds. There are also coffee and tea making facilities as well as a mini bar.
Comfort is my top consideration whether I travel or stay in a hotel. No matter how elegant or opulent the room is, if I feel uncomfortable in the room, I will not be able to unwind and have a good rest. Not only is the room cozy, the bed is so soft and fluffy. I kid you not that I would really love to just laze on the bed all day long!
Overall, Hotel Grandis is the ideal place to stay for people who are looking to shop, dine and party. It is near to entertainment options in Kota Kinabalu and it is just a 10-minute drive to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport. There is also a Sky Blu Bar, situated on the hotel’s roof if you are looking for the best place in town to catch a spectacular sunset.
