One of my greatest joy in life is to travel and I always love to travel during the Autumn or winter season. And we are so blessed to be strategically located that travelling to countries with 4 seasons can be done all year round! Yes, I know what are you thinking, winter can be so cold right? Let me assure you, all you need is 2 sets of winter wear (4 if you want to take more ootds aka outfit of the day) and you can travel the world! So here I am to share with you my ootds from Uniqlo during my most recent holiday to New York and Canada where the temperature can drop to negative zero.
To travel and to enjoy yourself in winter, keeping warm is definitely an essential. What I really really love about Uniqlo HEATTECH innerwear is you can now get the “ULTRA WARM” (NEW!!!) and “EXTRA WARM” inner wear as well. People like me who feel cold even when our air conditioner is running at 25 degrees, I tell you, HEATTEACH Ultra warm innerwear is a great savior! It is 1.5 times warmer than HEATTECH extra warm innerwear. Not to forget that HEATTECH extra warm innerwear retains heat 1.5 time better than the normal HEATTECH!
Currently HEATTECH Ultra Warm only comes in Crew Neck Long Sleeve ($29.90). So during extreme weather (minus zero degree with strong wind blowing), I will be wearing it as my first layer followed by HEATTECH Extra Warm Turtle Neck Long Sleeve ($24.90) together with a sweater, HEATTECH scarf ($19.90) and Seamless Down Short Coat ($149.90). On days that is not so cold, I would usually wear it like a normal outer layer.
Do you know that HEATTECH technology is also embedded into Uniqlo’s socks, gloves, scarf, pants and leggings? Really love how lightweight they are and do not take up a lot of my lugguage space! In fact, besides the HEATTECH innerwear, my most favourite buys from Uniqlo were the Blocktech Warm Lined Stretch Slim Fit Pants ($49.90) and Seamless Down Short Coat ($199.90).
The Blocktech Warm Lined Stretch Slim Fit Pants are windproof and has a fleece lining. So if I am feeling very cold, I can always put my hands into the pocket which feel so soft and comfortable!
The slim cut design also makes it stylish to wear. Yay to no more fashion disaster during the winter! Oh yes, the front and back pockets were great to keep some loose change and handphone! Huge Huge love

Best of all, it is made of stretch material so I can do my jump shot and such without much difficulties. Oh yes, they have a wide selection of different colours to choose from. I got the dark blue and black one and seriously I regretted not getting more. Well, I guess I could always get it for my next trip in 2017!!!!!
Believe it or not, the Seamless Down Short Coat was one of the most worn jacket during my 14 days trip. In fact, me and J fought over who to wear it as it really prevents wind and water from getting in. It kept us so warm that J called it Bao Luan Pai.
