Cafe Hopping: Compound Coffee @ The Interlace Condo (Relocated)

Even though Compound Coffee is located less than 2 km from my house, I have only gotten to know about this place recently through a friend. To many, I guess this is a well kept secret.

The clean, white and spacious concept instantly reminded me of the Japanese brand, Muji. No frills but  essentially cosy.
Besides being equiped with a Slayer machine and a Mahlkonig coffee grinder, there is also a coffee roaster. Yes, you are right. Compound coffee roasts their own coffee beans.
The coffee beans are also being rotated every few weeks. On the occasions that I was there, they were serving costa rica for their espresso based coffee.
Besides espresso based coffee, filter coffee are available via V60 pourover, Chemex and Aeropress. I have tried their Kenya AB on aeropress and I liked it. It has very prominent berries notes.
Besides coffee, small bites are also served here. Personally, I like this cosy white space where I can laze my afternoon away from the hustle and bustle. However, do note that as it is located in a condominium, you will need to get pass the security before you can enjoy your coffee here. Nevertheless, I do encourage you to check out this space if you are around the vicinity.
