Wildfire Burgers at 313 Somerset

Wildfire-2

Many burger lovers would have tried or at least heard of Wildfire Burgers. However, as its first outlet was located at Evan Road, I have yet to try it till the second outlet open at 313 @ Somerset. Just a stone throw away from Somerset MRT station, Wildfire Burgers at Somerset is definitely more accessible to many. Big yay for that!

Wildfire-5

Besides burgers, I am elated to find a good variety of bottled craft beers! Woohoo, just what I need to complete a burger meal.

There were four of us and we ordered 4 burgers to share. Mine was the Black Ebi ($19). Thumbs up for this fantastic burger. The ebi patty was made with CHUNKS of shrimps in it. Definitely one of my favourite among the four. Each burger also came with a side of french fries. For those who would like to try their specialty fries, simply top up another $1.50 for them.

For those who can’t live without some heat in your food, I challenge you to try the Sriracha Chicken ($16). This burger is seriously no joke. The Sriracha mayo sauce that was topped onto the brined chicken thigh is bound to send the sweat pearls dripping down your head.

We also had the Umami Burger ($17) and Truffled Mushroom Burger ($23). Made using premium beef from Australia so I guess there is nothing to fault about the beef patties. Juicy, moist and delicious!

Sriracha Chicken ($16) is not to be missed by anyone who has the love for spicy food. It is so crispy, so juicy and so spicy. Yummers! For those who can’t take the heat, there are several other options available. I can imagine myself enjoying these with a bottle of craft beer tonight. What a fantastic way to say hi to the weekend. ???

On a separate occasion, I have went back to Wildfire Burgers at 313 Somerset. I realised that there were some consistency issue in the standard of the food. The Sriracha chicken was no longer well coated with the Sriracha sauce. Instead, on the crispy well seasoned fried chicken pieces was a splatter of the Sriracha sauce. I have gave my feedback to the restaurant and from what I understand the presentation of the Sriracha Chicken was changed to allow more people with lower tolerance of spicy food to enjoy the dish. You can also request for more Sriracha sauce if the current portion is not enough to make you feel the heat.
For those who are planning to go down to Wildfire Burgers, remember to download the HOLLEROUT app, enter “mshannahchia” and enjoy 20% discount with a minimum order of $60 (before 7pm). Happy TGIF
