Sentosa 4D AdventureLand and its new 4-D experience, Happy Feet Mumble’s Wild Ride!

image
I have been very blessed recently to be receiving invites to many very interesting events. One of the events that I have attended is the Sentosa 4D AdventureLand’s new 4D experience, Happy Feet Mumble’s Wild Ride Media Preview.
image
As the rides are children friendly and the invitations are also extended to children, I brought my 2 hamburgers nephew and niece along. Gosh, they enjoyed themselves so much and I am so glad that I did. Joy shared is doubled, right?

The event was quite well organised and there was even transportation provided to the invited guests from Harbourfront MRT exit D. However for the public to get to AdventureLand is also quite a breeze. There are several ways to get there. You can either take the cable car and alight at the Cable Car Station at Imbiah Lookout or hop onto Sentosa Bus 1 and Bus 2 and  alight at Imbiah Lookout Bus Stop. Alternatively you can travel from Harbour Front MRT Station, proceed to VivoCity Lobby L at Level 3, near the Food Republic, board the Sentosa Express (Monorail) and alight at Imbiah Station or even drive and park at Imbiah Lookout Car Park.  =)

While waiting for the event to kickstart, the kiddos had fun time cam whoring at all the animated deco around.
imageThe launch was started with Mr Kevin Cheong, Executive Director of    Sentosa 4D AdventureLand, giving a introduction speech about this new thrilling ride at AdventureLand. Look at the penguin mascot, it was so popular with the kids!!!
imageAfter the speech, we then started our fun filled evening with the Happy Feet Mumble’s Wild Ride! It’s actually a 4D motion simulated ride featuring Mumble and friends at the heart of South Pole. Remember “HAPPY FEET” by Warner Bros Entertainment Inc ? The penguin who has no vocal talent but can tap dance very well is Mumble! So those who enjoyed Happy feet, I am sure you will like this ride too.

We were first lead to an area whereby we would enjoy some lighting effects, followed by some safety instructions. After which we were lead to the simulated ride theater.
image
This is where we dared the frozen Cliffs of Antarctica and faced the chase of Mumble’s leopard seal nemesis together with the penguins! Overall I enjoyed this ride as with the moving technology and the chilling air blasters used, the animations became more lively and real! However do take note that do NOT remove the seat belt at all times during the ride, if not the ride will come to an automated stop. It will be rather kill joy if that happens.

A dinner refreshment was also served for those who were invited to the media launch. It was really kind for the organizers and of cos the food was not bad especially the ice cream puff which my niece enjoyed a lot.imageAfter the refreshments, the kiddos and I went to have our go go-s at “Desperados”, the first 4D interactive shoot-out game in Asia. It was really fun for both adults and kids that we went for it twice!!! It’s literally playing shooting game in the arcade but together with a lot of people and riding on a “horse” ( motion-based saddle seat).
image
Those who enjoyed shooting game,I strongly recommended this game. Plus point is usually shooting games are relatively violent and have scary images e.g resident evil, house of dead..etc. However for Desperados, it is rather children friendly that even my niece enjoyed the game very much.
image
After that, we went to another theater to enjoy a movie experience synchronized with 3D imaging and special effect such as wind, scent and water sprays ( Not to worry, this is just like a drizzle onto you, not as if you will be drenched wet.  =D ).
image
Overall it was rather interesting and fun filled. Most importantly my nephew and niece enjoyed themselves. Joy when shared is doubled, right? I would recommend this place of interest to anybody, especially those with kids, who is in for a day of fun as the rides are unlimited! On top of that, children below 3 years old is free entry.  =)
