Nowadays, Christmas is celebrated by people around the world, whether you are Christians or not. This is in fact the season of gift-giving, sharing and joy where everyone makes time for their loved ones and friends to gather and to bond. As a Singaporean, food plays a big part of my life. So here I am to share with you some Christmas and New Year feasting ideas where you can enjoy a yummilious wonderful time.

From now to 31 December 2019, Beast & Butterflies is offering a Wine and dine package for those who don’t want to overeat this festive period. One get to choose either fillet mignon served with foie gras, roasted chicken thigh stuffed with pesto and asparagus or cod with jet-black purée together with a handcrafted mini log cake and a choice of M Wine or festive cocktail. If that is not filling enough, do check out the Mala Fried Rice that has just the right amount of spiciness, numbness as well as aroma.

For those who prefer to sit down to enjoy some contemporary Cantonese Christmas affair, Mitzo has launched their festive 5-course menu that was created by Executive Chef Nicky Ng. One can start with the Santa’s Roots cocktail which is concocted with licor 43, chocolate bitters, lemon juice, goji berry syrup and egg white and move on to the starter eaturing Truffle with Sesame Mayonnaise Prawn, Pomelo Lobster Claw and Mitzo’s Signature crispy Roasted Pork Belly. The festive menu also inclusive of the Pumpkin & Scallop Soup with Caviar before moving on to the Mains which one can choose either a fish, pork or beef before loading some carbs, Black Pepper Turkey Fried Rice. The festive set also round the meal on a sweet note with Coffee & Coconut Granita with Caramel Jelly served with Custard Sesame Pancake.

Of cos, you can also opt for a light Herb Crusted Dover Sole with Heirloom Carrots or hearty Wagyu Rib Eye with Potato Gratin. Don’t forget to save some space for the pumpkin pie and other seasonal sweets and treats such as the Christmas yule logs, handmade pralines and wash them down with a selection of teas or freshly brewed coffee.
IF you are into brunch, there are 2 seatings for Christmas Day Special Brunch Buffet ($258 per adult and $69 per child) – 11.30am to 1.30pm | 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
